After a day or two in Windermere, BC I realized I wanted a shot of the area hills when the sun was going down and the light was right. One thing about British Columbia at the end of May, sunset was A LOT later than it is in Houston, TX. In this case I didn't even have to start my trek to this view until about 9:15 pm to capture the golden light. To be fair this vista was only about a 10 minute walk from the cabin where we were staying. The shot was made standing just a few yards (Or should I say meters since I was in Canada?) off Kootenay Highway (95) near Akiskinook Rd.
This area had so many vistas it was hard to not get a good shot that time of the evening. This was one of may favorites.
